Objective:
The nail technician will master different techniques:
• On a short nail, gnawed or broken, he or she will be able to perform an extension, puts false nails, called “capsules”, on natural nails.
• Practice modeling of the nails, either with resin, very resistant and which cures in the free air or with gel, more natural, which dries under a lamp with UV.
• At the request of the client, she beautifies the nails. The techniques are varied. The nail technician will also know how to make French manicures, gradations of colors, put rhinestones on the nail or draw patterns (nail art).
• It must take care not to damage the natural nails and respect scrupulous hygiene to avoid infections. She will also be able to identify the nails that suffer from fungal infections and report it, to avoid transmitting them to the following clients. She will regularly change files, sterilize her instruments and clean her work table.
Requirements
All ungular prosthetist must be entitled to the following tools:
-Hand gloves
-Ephron
-A pair of scissors
-A pack of blade
Dress Code
-All aspiring ungular prosthetists must come every day dressed in white long-sleeved shirts and black skirts(knee level).
Grading System
The evaluation will be in 2 sections: there will be the practical section which will be considered as 60% of the evaluation and there will be the theoretical section which will be 40% of the evaluation. In each section, trainees are expected to score at least an average of the total score in order to earn a certificate.
Training sessions
Training can either be taken as full time or part-time.
Full Time
The full-time session runs from:
Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm
Part-Time
This session is taken according to the student’s schedule.
